Description: |
Northland snowshoes were guaranteed not to sag--an important selling aspect since they had to withstand cold temperatures and wet conditions. The webbed sinew and leather on supporting wood frame allowed the wearers weight to be distributed, preventing her from sinking into the snow no matter its depth. The wearer laced her snow boots into the leather straps located in the top center of each snowshoe. |
