Description: |
In 1962, British singer-songwriter Mick (Michael Philip) Jagger became a founding member of the five-musician rock n roll group, The Rolling Stones. The Stones first American tour in 1964 coincided with the Beatles tour. Like the Beatles, the band was inspired by the blues and early rock n’roll. Quickly, the band created a bad boy image. Jagger gained international fame with his irreverent attitudes and distinctive vocalizations. The band’s latest album, A Bigger Bang debuted in September of 2005. |
