Model of the “Columbus” steamship

Description: At almost 39 inches long, the “Columbus” was one of the largest toy ocean liners produced in the mid-1920s by the German company Marklin. They were one of the world’s finest toy makers, famous for their tin toys and toy trains. Although the ship is seaworthy and intended for use in the water, the ship came with a wheeled cradle so it could be used as a pull-toy on land.
