Description: |
This centrifuge spins liquids in the test tubes very rapidly. The particles in the liquid separate so that the densest particles go to the end of the test tubes while the least dense particles stay closer to the center of the test tubes. The test tubes make a circular pattern around the base. Physicians in the 1930s could use this centrifuge to test the butterfat content in milk or analyze a patient’s urine. |
