Optometrist’s lens case

Description: Having trouble reading the words on the screen? Maybe you need glasses! Dr. L. D. Holliday used this lens set to help determine what prescription glasses his patients needed in Fairmount, Indiana around 1905. He placed different lenses in the “trial frames” until the patient could see clearly. Then Dr. Holliday ordered prescription glasses for the patient that matched the lenses in the trial frames.
