Whether sorting donated clothing, making bandages and clothing, or making toys for children. United States citizens substantially contributed to the needs of citizens throughout the world through organizations like The Red Cross, Bundles for Britain, and War Relief organizations for individual countries including Russia, France, and Belgium. Mrs. Gaar Williams received the pin at left for 144 hours of service to the Russian War Relief. |
