Countess Gripenberg writes to invite Mrs. Sewall to travel with her in Europe between meetings in London and Berlin. If she is unable, Gripenberg requests that Sewall provide her with introductions to ladies in those countries. She sends also comforting words on the loss of Mr. Sewall.Countess Alexandra Gripenberg represented the Finnish Womens Association at the Worlds Congress of Representative Women, Chicago, 1893. She was active in the promotion of national womens councils and of an international womens council. |
