Description: |
This is a digitized recording of a dictabelt, which the Indianapolis Fire Department used to record dispatch calls during the 1960s and 1970s. This recording skips a great deal, and the last five minutes are unintelligible. Following are the calls on this dictabelt: 1) Mrs. Arthur at 3631 Day Camp Dr. reports a grass fire. 2) Heart attack at 26 N Delaware. 3) Fire in chimney at 315 W 31St. 4) Discussion about the location of Glen Arm Rd. 5) Car fire at 1807 Mansfield, two blocks west of Hardees. 6) Discussion about a truck having radio issues. Recording ends at 12:38 PM. |
