This is a digitized recording of a dictabelt, which the Indianapolis Fire Department used to record dispatch calls during the 1960s and 1970s. Following are the calls on this dictabelt: Charlie on dispatch.; Hawthorne Room, 1600 and N. Meridian smoke coming from the eaves. 8:05am.; England called the 3s to get a three-way installed on the apparatus.; PI Accident at 2440 N. Tibbs in front of fire house.; New recruits uniforms are in at Midwest.; Armstrong called in.; Dillinger on Truck 14 returning to 2210 N. Talbot to pick up equipment left on the scene.; 839 N. Keystone possible stroke or heart attack, Engine 12 dispatched at 8:55. DOA, request for a district car; 2316 N. Park, exterminating machine started a fire in an upstairs apartment.; Dictabelt |
