Description: This is a digitized recording of a dictabelt, which the Indianapolis Fire Department used to record dispatch calls during the 1960s and 1970s. Following are the calls on this dictabelt:1. Caller asking about need for more water pressure for second alarm fire at 2232 Brookside Drive. 2. Water Company, calling to find out water pressure on suction side. Water Company is trying to increase water pressure to firefighters. 3. Fire at 4401 Lynnwood Court Apartment 4. Firefighter calls to get confirmation and ambulance has been sent to their location. 5. WTTV calls for press line number. 6. Call from Firefighter that Lynnwood Court fire report was a false alarm. 7. Engineer from Water Company calls to ask for location and circumstances of pressure loss in hydrant network. Dispatcher tells him it is not possible to acquire this information. 8. Fire in garage at 616 East 40th Street. 9. At Atlas Hotel, 433 � East Washington sick man reported.
