White and fellow inhabitants of St. Clair County petition Harrison to sanction a ferry on Okaw Creek near Turkey Hill and Goshen. They suggest that William Going, Junior be made the ferryman and that he be given land to establish it. Harrison, William Henry, 1773-1841 Okaw Creek is probably Okaw River.
