Group portrait of the Counselors Club and field representatives of Indianapolis Life Insurance Company at their 20th Anniversary Home Coming, held from August 25-27 in 1925. In order to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the company, an event was held in the shelter at Garfield Park, where awards were given for salesmanship. Started by three brothers, Charles, George, and Joseph Raub, along with Frank Manly and Albert Goslee, Indianapolis Life specialized in individual life, annuity, and disability insurance around the country. It was absorbed into Aviva Life and Annuity Company in 2008. At the time of this photo, their headquarters was in the former Charles Fairbanks mansion at 30th and Meridian Streets. |
