Description: Group portrait of employees of the J. D. Adams Manufacturing Company in Indianapolis in 1932. The company was founded in 1885 by Joseph D. Adams, inventor of the leaning-wheel pull grader, and it sold construction machinery. The company operated until 1960. At this time, Roy E. Adams was President and it was located on 217 S. Belmont.
