Group portrait of the Cyclone Division (38th Infantry Division) of the 63rd Artillery Brigade , Company 137 at Fort Benjamin Harrison. This division of the Army National Guard has its headquarters at Fort Benjamin Harrison and contains units from Indiana, Ohio, Kentucky, Delaware, Michigan, and Tennessee. Formed in 1917, it became known as the Cyclone Division during World War I after their training camp at Camp Shelby, Mississippi was damaged by a tornado. Commander C.C. Bassett is listed as well as other officers. |
