The Epworth League is a Methodist young adult association formed by the Central Avenue Methodist Episcopal Church. Though the photo is labeled Milltown, IND, newspapers of the time report that this convention was held in Milroy, Indiana. It was a two-day convention held on June 5th and 6th. This photo was taken at the Wednesday, June 6th session, which announced the election of Reverend H. O. Kisner of Milroy as the next president of the association. |
