Group portrait of a bible class held at the Central Avenue Methodist Church in 1910. The church, located at 1201 Central Avenue in Indianapolis, was once the largest Methodist Congregation in Indiana and played a formative roll in Indianapolis history. The building, a Romanesque Revival design of brick and limestone, was restored by Indiana Landmarks in 2011 and is now their state headquarters. |
