General Convention for the Promotion of Holiness, Indianapolis, Indiana, September 11-16, 1923

Description: A large group of participants were photographed during the General Convention for the Promotion of Holiness in September of 1923. They are standing on the front steps of the former Indianapolis City Hall located at 202 North Alabama Street. The building was designed in the Neoclassical style by the architectural firm of Rubush and Hunter and is on the National Register of Historic Places. The image is distorted and the building front appears to be curved when it is actually flat.
The original nitrate negative was copied with funds provided by a grant from the National Historical Publications and Records Commission in 1990. This digital image was created from that copy. The copy prints and negatives are stored in Microfiche Number order. Interpositives are stored in PAN number order.
