1913 Indianapolis 500 Mile Race

Description: Drivers, mechanics, and the pace car, driven by Carl Fisher, prepare for the 1913 500 Mile Race. On the right is the new five-story Japanese-style pagoda used for concessions, timers and scorers, the press, race officials, and special guests. The winning car, number 16, a Peugeot with French driver Jules Goux can be seen in the second row.
