Funeral Honors On Reception Of The Remains Of Abraham Lincoln, Late President of the United States

Description: The broadside gives information on the arrangements for the viewing of the late president. The funeral train was met at the Union Depot and the presidents body was escorted to the statehouse. Assistant marshals met trains telling people where to stand in line for the viewing. The pall bearers were Hon. David Kilgore, Col. Wm. C. Kise, Hon. R. W. Thompson, Isaac Jenkinson, Esq., Hon. John H. Farquhar, Hon. Jer. Sullivan, Col. K. G. Shryock, Lewis Burk, Esq., Hon. Ralph Hill and Col. John A. Mann. Marshals escorting the remains wore decorated black crepe sashes and carried batons covered with the same material.
