Description: In the lower right corner of the lithograph is written U.S. Steamer Monticello. In the lower left corner The Rebel Flotilla. The steamer is shelling the Rebel troops as they try to stop the retreat of the 20th Indiana Regiment toward Hatteras Lighthouse on October 5, 1861.
