G.A.R. Review

Description: The annual parade was a highlight not only for the veterans but the citizens of Indianapolis. The procession included soldiers from every state represented at the encampment and ended with the soldiers from Indiana. The parade lasted 7 hours and some accounts estimated 70,000 men marched in the parade.
