Description:	Sterling requests that Sutton sign and return receipts for forage shipped on the steamer Indian. Sutton, Joseph, 1838-1903 600 ppi This Civil War Military Front collection was funded by LSTA. On the reverse side is written Col. Hawkins/ Due Hospital from Col. 60 Bushels of Corn/ Spring Hill Road 3 miles from Wylys Plantation. The message written appears to address a matter separate from Sterlings letter.
