Special order, N.J.T. Dana, Major General

Description: Major General Dana orders the 9th, 10th, 11th, 12, and 13th Regiments of Indiana Volunteer Cavalry to leave for Nashville and report to Major General Rosseau for immediate service before they can complete preparations and secure equipment. The Ordnance and Quartermasters Departments will provide arms and transportation. Brigadier General H. B. Carrington is charged with executing the order.
