Wabash Street, South from Market, Wabash, Indiana

Description: The electric streetcar arrived in Wabash in 1901. The first cars seated 48 people. They ran the length of the city including through the business district on Wabash Street every half hour for 5¢ a ride. The last streetcar ran in 1931.
Message on postcard reads: Will be home soon if I can find no work. Suppose you saw my notice on the table. Tom Postcard addressed to: Mrs. M. H. Shannon, Greensburg, Indiana
