Mural Painting of Gen. Clark and His Men in the Attack on Vincennes, Indiana, 1779

Description: The mural painting was done by Arthur Thomas and is located in The Seelbach Hotel, in Louisville, Kentucky. Upon hearing that the British had regained control of Vincennes, Clark marched his men through flooded lowlands to recapture Fort Sackville. The men are wearing buckskin clothing and carrying rifles.
