Shipment of Ford Motor Cars to Automobile Dealer in Milan, Indiana, 1915

Description: Milan emerged as a town when the railroad came through in 1854. The high point in its history took place in 1954 when the town celebrated its centennial and the high school won the state basketball crown. With only 161 students, Milan was the inspiration for the movie “Hoosiers.”
