John Peter Gabriel Muhlenberg, Falls of the Ohio, to Major General Baron Steuben

Description: Muhlenberg tells of his trip down the Ohio River with a small surveying party, describing the land between the Scioto and Miami as well as the state of Indian relations with the settlers there. Reporting on the land lottery, Muhlenberg discusses his role as Steubens representative and how best to choose land locations.
