Karl Kae Knecht Cartoon

Description: Two men representing Kentucky and Indiana lie in neighboring hospital beds. Kentuckys chart indicates that he is in the hospital for State Highway Irregularities and that he was admitted to the hospital in August 1957. Indianas chart shows he is also being treated for State Highway Irregularities and has been there since April 1957. Indiana greets Kentucky with a friendly Hi neighbor!, but Kentucky looks angrily at Indiana, probably believing that he caught his disease from Indiana.
