Description: |
A huge flock of birds flies through the sky; many more birds are perched all over the Vanderburgh County Courthouse. Guns are fired out of the courthouses windows, but the birds seem unaffected. A small crowd of people holding umbrellas watch the birds; one person points to a bird which is falling to the ground, apparently hit by the gunshot. Mr. Public says that trying to get rid of the birds is just like trying to get rid of professional politicians. Image Access WideTEK 25 Boom. Boom. Bang. County Court House. There--one fell! Is this election year? Must be. Just like trying to get rid of professional politicians! Washington, D.C., is having battle of the starlings too. Mr. Public. [in margins: 1947] |
