Description: |
Uncle Sam, John Bull, Macmillan, Khrushchev, and three other men are gathered around a table labeled Disarmament Commission. Uncle Sam pounds his fist on the table and tells Khrushchev that he can leave, if he refuses to cooperate with the United Nations directive that he needs to have a 26 count. Khrushchev has one hand on a tall stack of playing cards. With the other hand he points to a card which is lying face-up on the table; it shows Sputnik 1 and 2. Khrushchev says that he will use joker scares if he wants (Sputnik cards), or he will not participate at all. Uncle Sam (Symbolic Character); Khrushchev, Nikita Sergeevich, 1894-1971; John Bull (Symbolic Character); Macmillan, Harold, 1894-1986 Image Access WideTEK 25 O.K. then you can get out! The U.N. says to have a 26 count--14 more than now! Might as well play Russian roulette. Disarmament Commission. No!--Nyet--no! We use 82--and if I want too--these joker scares count for me--or else, none at all! |
