Karl Kae Knecht Cartoon

Description: Election Day scene. A residential street is full of cars parked on both sides of the street and blocking traffic. The sidewalks are full of people, mostly party workers who are handing out last-minute campaign advertisements. People seated at two tables in the front yard of a house check voters in. Voters wait on the houses sidewalk and front porch until a voting machine becomes available. The necessary officials, workers, and voters have their clothing shaded a darker color; there are many people with light clothing throughout the scene, particularly blocking the sidewalk. Paper litters the sidewalk, street, and yards.
