Karl Kae Knecht Cartoon

Description: A much-taller Charles de Gaulle bends down to shake hands with Khrushchev. Behind the men are shades of themselves shaking hands at a previous meeting. Then, de Gaulle was short and Khrushchev was very tall. Khrushchevs shade leans one arm on the top of the Eiffel Tower, snapping the flagpole flying the French flag off. The Arc de Triomphe appears in the background.
Khrushchev, Nikita Sergeevich, 1894-1971; Gaulle, Charles de, 1890-1970
