Public helps in the war effort. In the top left, Uncle Sam holds up a sign saying that all men of certain ages have to register. Public salutes Uncle Sam and says O.K.. In the top center, he stands at a bank-tellers window under a sign promoting war bonds and stamps. In the top right, he tells a man sitting at a desk labeled Local Defense Council to put him down for anything the man wants him to do. In the center left, he reads a poster with instructions on what to do during an air raid. In the center, he tells his secretary that he is going to the Red Cross. In the center right, he stands near a car and reads a sign about rubber rationing. In the bottom left, he puts his fingers in his ears so that he cant hear rumors. In the bottom center, Uncle Sam tells him that it will be a while before there is much rationing, and he replies that well be ready.
