Description: Oakland City is having their centennial anniversary, and Indiana, Kentucky, and Southeast Illinois come to join the celebration. There is a large cake with candles on it, and a man holding a gold knife and in period clothing stands ready to cut the first piece. There is going to be a parade on Sunday. Knechts elephant points out where Oakland City is on a map and says to drive carefully.

Oakland city centennial June 6-10. Big parade Sunday. Daily festivities pageant etc. Hoosier cheer. Drive with care.
