Its a great idea. Been doing it other places for years. Epiphany observance of the 12th Night--end of the Christmas season. For a giant bonfire at Lamasco field--West Maryland Street this evening, 7:15 with special program under City Recreation Department, civic clubs, and city firemen in charge. Also serves to remove one more eyesore--discarded trees that litter up yards and add to trash piles for months and months. [in margins: January 5, 1948] |
