Karl Kae Knecht Cartoon

Description: Labor Day cartoon and reminder to drive safely over the holiday weekend. A car speeds down a highway; a second car is moving in the opposite direction and the two will soon pass one another. A billboard next to the highway lists the number of accidents which the Indiana police expect to occur this weekend and how many deaths they will cause, the number of deaths which occurred over the Fourth of July weekend, and the number of people killed so far in 1949 versus the same time period in 1948.
