Found these interesting sycamore tree roots formation growing across a creek. From Basil Farrow 4 inches in diameter J.M. Georges Sr., Fort Branch, Ind. RFD. 3. found this limb of a water oak with a growth forming a handle along old canal toe path near Buckskin. He mounted it on a base - varnished it and uses depression at top for ash tray. It is 30 inches high FOUND: Recently in a can in Petersburg, Ind., this old brass key of the Pike County Jail, stolen 40 years ago from Sheriff Jim Kinman. Levi Lockhart and Jim Buck McAtee released themselves and escaped. Lockhart killed a Kentucky sheriff 8 years ago and is now serving a life sentence. McAtee, now dead, was never captured. 6 inches long. Sent in by - Denver McRoberts - Petersburg Ind. A sea-elephant or seal shape potato from Upton Second and Goodsell Evansville - Help Help - !! - Send in your oddities of people - places - history - nature etc. - But hold up now on big eggs - We do not like to picture things too often - but something different at all times Since showing a big egg or two we have been showered with a dozen or so of the 6 x 8 inch variety. |
