An eight sided smokestack, a tree growing up in Archibald McMasters tombstone, Ewing Galloway, a famous local photographer, is to come to town. Galloway, Ewing, 1881-1953 Image Access WideTEK 25 The 8 sided smoke stack on the old mill at Gentryville is thought to be the only one of such construction around here C.L. Dale Ind. One of the best known of photographers is Ewing Galloway of New York City, a native son of Henderson. He supplies any and all kinds of photos for newspapers and magazines. A pet diversion is writing a Sunday column - Molehills and Mountains - for the Henderson Gleaner-Journal with comment on old and present days there and people- - also NY City chatter. Galloway gathers material on his semi annual visits back home The old Tri-state grows in interest Grave of Archibald McMasters in Archers Cemetery 3 miles N.W. of Princeton. The tree has grown up and almost obscures the tombstone. The roots of the tree have spread to the graves of the boys father and mother buried on each side.
