See-Know Our TriState At Columbus KY. is a huge anchor uncovered after the flood of 1927. It head a chain placed across the river during the civil war to prevent the approach of gun boats. From Miss Florence Johns Sturgis, KY. Strange tombstones - above Indianapolis Ind. is the one below, shaped like a traveling mans grip. It is about 18 inches x 10 in. x 12 in. It is of sand or limestone and the only marker on the grave. Wrapping twine is called - cording string in southeastern Indiana. From Ora Nave Patriot Ind. Posey County has a town called Rapture.
