While I wait for Steve to call us Ill write a few lines as I recline on my chaise-longue in my MacCurdy suite--tell the Detroit gang its all south down here with birds chirping, leaves popping, flowers in bloom, and as I look out the window I see the vast expanse of the beautiful Ohio--immense boats in distance--coast guard patrols skim the waters, a big sun, green grass, park over the way, plenty tourist looking for rooms and eats. Soldiers, sailors, and sweeties by thousands stroll along ramparts overlooking the placid waters--I see a colored mammy amid the palms--an auto speedway out front--why Florida has nothing on this--and oh! yes a swell ball-lot. Detroit Tigers. Some view bridges, and what a bridge. Yes sir, thats Kentucky over there. Bus Schedule to Bosse Field. Out. In. White Sox March 27-28. Says he likes Evansville.
