Description: |
People stand in line to pay their income tax. Public writes his Congressman to ask for a pay-as-you-go plan and forms that are easier to understand. A sheet of paper calculating how much a man paying $21,900 in taxes pays per day, hour, and minute and what his taxes will pay for. A soldier holds an income tax form as he is called to battle. Image Access WideTEK 25 My pockets been picked. You can deduct it. Long line? 3 hours long. Talk about absenteeism. Look at time we lose in line. After this Im going to watch how they spend it in Washington. The New Taxpayers. Income tax paid first quarter 97. Thats a dollar every day. What? Only a dollar a day to be in the U.S.A. To my dear Congressman, --and after you get us a sensible pay-as-you-go plan to pay--why please PLEASE! make them get up forms that are easier to figure out, easy to fill out, by understandable terms used. Why dont they use terms we know. Speaking of Income Tax: Take for example a man paying $21,900.00. 365 days 21,900 he pays $60 every 24 hours. 24 hours 60.00 $2.50 every hour. 60 minutes 2.50 4 cents per minute. Based on an eight hour day, as most work, it is $7.50 per hour that he pays to Uncle Sam. Such an income tax payer is paying for 6 men who would be paid $1.25 an hour. Call to battle. Income tax. Those in service have until 6 months after war to pay. Income tax forms arrived just as we were going into battle in North Africa. |
