Karl Kae Knecht Cartoon

Description: Three men representing the Indiana Bridge Commission offer to buy the New Harmony bridge, which is currently privately owned. They plan to charge a toll only until their purchase price is made back, then make it free. Crowds of people in southern Indiana approve of the idea, but a few organizations in Indianapolis object, which makes the elephant so mad he stomps his foot.
