Bah! There is no. What you say mister? Drop you change in the cans around town. For many years we have appealed to you for what we think a righteous cause. The Courier Family has responded too convincing us there is a Santa Claus. But for your generosity each year, some children of the poor would doubt there is a spirit of good cheer and frown at times when that should shout. that some unworthy might participate we often hear as an excuse, a reason why some cant a cent donate nor their purse strings to us unloose. What if a few unworthy do attend. We feel that it is very few should that prevent our efforts to expand the cheer to whom its really due? Prosperity to all will never come no matter how they may endeavor; misfortunes always will occur to some and needy be with us forever. It seems we never know when we succeed what may befall us on the morrow for fortune is a fickle thing indeed and we are none exempt from sorrow.
