Barbara Hansen and classmates

Description: Barbara Hansen, a paraplegic since age eighteen, was the first licensed Indiana teacher in a wheelchair. She got a B.S. in Education from Ball State in 1963 and later received her Ph.D. She was a professor of English Ball State University and the University of Cincinnati, her hometown.
