Indiana Michigan Power had to temporarily shut down power along McGalliard Road in Muncie, Indiana to fix a malfunctioning transformer.; The New Castle Police Department has issued additional subpoenas related to a hit-and-run traffic accident that killed Thomas Jackman of New Castle, Indiana on February 4, 2005. Andrew Saunders, the son of Indiana State Representative for District 54 Tom Saunders, is listed as a person of interest.; A Marion, Indiana man has been sentenced to three years in jail. Roger Randolph was involved in a shooting at a bar in Madison County, Indiana in August 2004.; The first phase of renovations to the New Castle-Henry County Public Library is now complete. The NCHCPL now includes a larger childrens reading room, a 180-seat auditorium, and an Indiana history study room.; The Anderson Community School Corporation may be forced to lay off 50+ teachers, eliminate certain classes and/or increase classroom sizes.
