Andrew Saunders, the son of Indiana State Representative for District 54 Tom Saunders, has pleaded guilty to hit-and-run driving and driving while intoxicated. Thomas Jackman of New Castle, Indiana died in the traffic accident caused by Andrew on February 4, 2005. Andrew was driving Toms car at the time.; Medicare Part D will go into effect on January 1, 2006. Medicare Part D is a federal program to subsidize the costs of prescription drugs for Medicare beneficiaries in the United States. It was enacted as part of the Medicare Prescription Drug, Improvement, and Modernization Act of 2003 (MMA).; Henry County, Indiana has the sixth highest rate of air pollution of any county in the United States, according to a report by the United States Environmental Protection Agency. Local officials in Henry County, Indiana were surprised by the reports findings, and are asking the EPA for more details.; The Board of School Trustees of the Anderson Community School Corporation has passed proposals for two Anderson, Indiana high schools to update their sports facilities.; Local road crews are salting the roads earlier this year, in response to a recent patch of cold weather.; Weather.; The New Castle-Henry County Public Library in New Castle, Indiana has reopened after extensive renovations. The Carnegie Library building had been under construction since 2003.; The framework for Ball State Universitys new Communication and Media Building is now complete.
