Jerome B. Mason

Description: Jerome B. Mason was born in 1837. In 1861 he organized a company of zouaves. Was also a member of the 84th Indiana Infantry, Company F. Was the first soldier from Knightstown, Indiana to be commissioned an officer. Killed in action at the Battle of Chickamauga in Georgia on September 20, 1863.
