1950s womens dress

Description: Demeer
Red cotton sheath dress. Fully lined and fitted with darts and a matching belt at the waist. It has a knee length wrap skirt with a pocket on the right hip and is closed at the left hip with three cloth covered buttons. The dress has short kimono sleeves and a wide scoop neckline decorated with swirling appliques.
This dress was most likely worn as a casual daytime dress during the 50s. It was probably paired with a matching hat, stockings, gloves, and coordinating shoes. This was most likely a summer or spring time dress. Matching red lipstick and neutral makeup would have been a good compliment to the dress.
