Selch sixth row window seat.James Omer Winings (July 18, 1931 - ) was born to Vernon Winings (February 8, 1907 - February 8, 1972) and Etta Viola (Caldwell) Winings (March 10, 1910 - January 23, 1991) in Morgan County, Indiana. He married Wilma Anne Rawlings (October 23, 1931 -) on January 7, 1956. Vernon and Etta had two children, James and Donald. Etta remarried after Vernons death to Jack T. Perkins on June 2, 1978 (Etta Viola Caldwell Winings-Perkins).Thomas Gerth (1932 - ) at the Avon High School 1949 Junior/Senior High School trip to Gatlinburg, Tennessee. Thomas was born to Elmer (1902 - 1970) and Dorothy (Gossett) Gerth (1908 - 1957). Both parents are buried at Shiloh Methodist Cemetery in Hendricks County, Indiana. Thomas sibling include: Kathryn (Russell), Paul (April 24, 1929 - November 13, 1992), Betty Jo (Schmea), Sandy (Gossett) and Jane. His grandmother was Belle Gossett. Information on Paul from Find a Grave includes: He was a farmer for most of his life, then served as a fieldman for Farm Bureau for five years, retiring in 1983. He was a school bus driver for Avon for 13 years. He was a member of Bridgeport Masonic Lodge #162. Survivors include his wife, June Flanagan Gerth; daughters, Brenda Johnson of Grand Ridge, Florida and Sharry Parr of Avon; son Dr. Kevin Gerth of Freemont Michigan; sisters, Kathryn Russell of Middletown, Maryland, Betty Jo Schmea of Greely, California, and Sandy Gossett of Brownsburg; brother, Tom Gerth of Tipton, and ten grandchildren.Ruth Long was born to Thomas Shelva (May 16, 1894 - May 2, 1973) and Sarah Francis (Abbott) Long (December 7, 1894 - May 9, 1980). Jim Conger and Ruth Ann Long were married on September 3, 1949.David Wallace Selch (May 17, 1931 - December 18, 1992) was born to Oscar Wallace and Ethel (Myers) Selch. His sisters were Jane (Goodson) and Faye (Whitaker). On March 13, 1954 David married Barbara Russell and they had one son, Leslie D. According to his obituary in The Guide, December 22, 1992, David died in Manchester, Tennessee but he was residing in Trenton, Florida. He owned and operated the Danville Landfill for many years, retiring in 1974. He is buried at Danville South Cemetery in Danville, Indiana. |
