In 2018, histories of the 10 steam railroads serving Allen Co. were researched, uncovering the Bowser Belt Line Railroad, which operated for Bowser Pump Co. This Feb. 1961 photo looking SE on the Penn. RR at its Winter St. facilities. The boxcar at right is on the BBL spur, but we dont know whether BBL was still operating then. PRR owned the 500 ft. of BBLs spur west of PRRs mainline, so the boxcar is on PRRs track. |
